The world is changing rapidly and the development
of investment opportunities is ever increasing. Grosvenor assists
clients with the selection, acquisition, and management of their
investments.
In order to avoid any conflict of interest, Grosvenor
does not develop its own investment products. Independently owned
and without any institutional shareholding or control, Grosvenor
shows no favour to any particular range of investment products.
Our research is based on a top-down approach. This
means that we begin by looking at the global economy as a whole,
from which we form views about the potential of various asset classes.
These asset classes include Australian equities, global equities,
Australian fixed interest, global fixed interest, property and a
broad range of alternative assets.
A variety of asset allocations are constructed
to suit clients with different risk return profiles and having regard
to their stage in the investment cycle. It is then a matter of analysing
the market to identify and understand the best combination of specific
investments to fulfil those asset allocations.
We are an institutional client of a number of leading
financial organisations. From their unique offerings, we select
the highest quality investments appropriate to a client's needs.
This approach compares most favourably with the arrangements adopted
by many other firms and their recurring use of generic lists of
widely available investments to formulate portfolios.
All recommendations are made on the basis that
we are constructing a long-term investment portfolio. We often need
to refocus on the long-term investment horizon, despite periodic
levels of short-term volatility.
We are in regular contact with our clients. Clients
meet with their Adviser to discuss their overall financial affairs,
forward planning, and specific strategies. We are readily available
for meetings, phone calls, etc as often as required by the client.
This procedure results in a highly tailored and
personalised service reflecting the importance of our role to clients.
We operate using a Deed of Appointment and a limited
Power of Attorney. This eliminates virtually all of the paperwork
clients have previously found so time-consuming. However, before
we implement any investment recommendations, we ensure that we have
your complete agreement. The Australian Financial Services (AFS)
Licence held by Grosvenor ensures that we follow this practise rather
than there being any chance of us making presumptions about your
intentions. You are always in control.
